Here’s a wonderful opportunity to use your free time to read a book online and also raise funds for our Fairmont Area Early Childhood Initiative.
The campaign begins June 25.You do not have to live in Fairmont to participate.
Fairmont ECI will receive 50 cents a book until the limit of 25,000 books read is reached.
Once signed up you can choose from thousands of books to read in different age ranges – on the last page of the book, click on the orange GIVE A Book button so your book is counted for the fundraiser.
You can follow directions below to login – BE Sure to use FAIRMONT in your username when you sign up and log in

How It Works
-- Go to www.wegivebooks.org to get started.
-- Click on CHOOSE A CAMPAIGN
-- Click the orange SUPPORT button under SMIF's logo. SMIF's campaign will open on June 25.
-- On SMIF's campaign homepage, click the SUPPORT THIS CAMPAIGN button on the righthand side.
-- From the pop-up, choose to SIGN UP if it is the first time, or LOG IN if returning.
-- When signing up, readers need to include your ECI name in their username if they want to earn you grant dollars. This is the only way we can track readers, so only those using FAIRMONT in their username will be counted in your grant total.
-- Once signed up, users can choose from thousands of books to read in different age ranges.
-- On the last page of the book, click on the orange GIVE A BOOK button under the book. This will be counted towards SMIF's total and earn you $.50.
You can check out www.wegivebooks.org right now to familiarize yourself with the site; however, SMIF's campaign will not be up until Monday, June 25. Since the campaign will close once SMIF reaches 25,000 books read, you are competing against other ECIs for the grant dollars.
